What kind of nails are made of pure iron? and where can i find them?

I'm not sure....but you know the railroad nails that hold the track on, i think they are pure iron.. so you can find old ones laying next to the train tracks. if you are looking for a different kind try a hardware store, such as ace hardware or menards. if not try looking at old antique stores, some times they have things you never thought about! What kind of nails are made of pure iron? and where can i find them?
nails are made of steel, not iron. iron nails were used before steel was cheap to make. You may still be able to find them but I doubt it.What kind of nails are made of pure iron? and where can i find them?
You can ask for normal steel nail or high tensile steel nail for different application.

Nail for wood application%26gt;normal steel nail

Nail for concrete %26gt;High tensile nail

Copper nail for rust prevention
I am not sure why you need pure iron..but I'm in Panama and have brought nails from the USA to use down here and they are wimpy compared to what you buy down here..The hardwoods like Nisporo are very tough but the nails down here are very strong..
